Elizabeth "Beth" Gerhart
Life and Financial Coach
Elizabeth was born in western Pennsylvania in a suburb of Pittsburgh. Her parents raised her with a strong work ethic and a desire to help others. Growing up in a small family business, Elizabeth came to appreciate the work and effort it took to make a business and family operate and why the balance between family and business is so important.
Trained as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) at Saint Francis University, Elizabeth graduated at the top of her class and completed her residencies at hospitals in western Pennsylvania and Grand Junction, Colorado. She moved to Lancaster, Pennsylvania to work in family practice and built her patient following by genuinely caring about her patients.
Elizabeth provided medical care and coached her patients on their physical health and how to deal with life and its circumstances, changes, and transition. After 15 years in primary care and clinical research, Elizabeth moved to the emergency room to provide care and counsel to patients in crisis at hospitals in Lancaster, Lititz, Harrisburg, and York, Pennsylvania.
After 18 years of practicing medicine, Elizabeth felt God calling her to make another transition to full-time motherhood of her adopted twins from Guatemala. Her strong love of continued learning led her to become knowledgeable in business development, small business practices, and financial stewardship. She became active in many local schools and medical practice boards. Aside from being active as a medical volunteer within her church, she, along with her husband, has led Financial Peace University classes and has completed her Master Coach Financial Training through the Ramsey Organization.
Elizabeth and her husband are partners in multiple businesses, and she recently took over the day-to-day management of their newest business venture, a resale boutique in their local community.
Why She Does Coaching
The desire to continue to help people and coach them through transitional times has led Elizabeth to work with her church youth group, specifically coaching and mentoring teens as they enter adulthood. These experiences, along with her years in medicine, have allowed Elizabeth to give insight, mentoring, and coaching advice to clients going through a wide variety of social, emotional, spiritual, and financial issues. She also pushes the idea of not only achieving success but also having a healthy understanding of self-worth, physical, emotional, spiritual, and financial balance.
Elizabeth’s experience and determination make her a tremendous life and financial coach. She cares for people and wants them to achieve what God has called them to do. She understands that situations affect people differently and in different areas of life. She teaches people to not just survive but to achieve balance and thrive in life. It comes down to each person's ability to navigate the road of life. Elizabeth has dedicated herself to helping others navigate that road, avoiding the potholes, and enjoying the journey along the way.
Elizabeth lives near Lancaster, Pennsylvania with her husband Brian and children Nathan and Lauren. Elizabeth and her family are active in Community Bible Church, Marietta, Pennsylvania. Elizabeth has served on the board of multiple industry and civic organizations and currently serves on the board of House on the Rock Family Ministries.
